There are very few service experiences that I take time to write about because I normally don't feel they deserve my time. You, however do. You provided the most complete professional and customer service oriented experience in selling our second home we could have ever imagined. Starting with the first phone call through my rant about email etiquette (remaining supportive and responsive) to helping me with the break down of the art hanging in the place to ensuring fidelity and then moving the closing up to help us with another closing's timing- you are by far the best I/we have ever experienced. Our recommendation goes way beyond a kind word to anyone considering selling property, our recommendation is that anyone selling a property MUST use you!
Thank you for every little bit of service you gave to us! Many future successes!

Amy Nakos assisted us with the purchase of our home in Blue River/Breckenridge in 2013. We have bought and sold 6 homes and Amy is by far the best real estate agent we have ever worked with. She is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely hard working for her clients. Her commitment to customer service is top notch and continues after the sale is complete. 2 years after our purchase, Amy continues to assist us with issues that arise with our vacation home that we cannot address on our own. Amy will be the agent we call with any future real estate needs in the area.
The Bohrers, Purchased a Duplex in Breckenridge
Amy worked with Clif and I to purchase a condo in Breckenridge Colorado. The process took about 2 years as we live out of town. She would block time for us whenever we were able to come in to town so that we made the best use of time. Her knowledge of the area was most beneficial as we thought starting off that we wanted a summer only place and location didn't matter. We ended up with a beautiful slopeside condo that meets more of our family needs. She found the condo before it was listed on the internet and sent a YOUTUBE of the place. I trusted her judgement and felt she knew us well enough that I asked her to make an offer sight unseen. We discussed price and she got it for less than we thought we would have to spend. It has increased in value above our expectations. The process of purchasing the condo with Amy was seamless. She has all the necessary documents online and so the negotiations etc. can be done remote. She also got us all the condo documents and made sure we were able to talk directly to the manager about any issues we had. My husband and I are convinced that she knows every tradesman in the area. She did not just give us one name of an inspector or a plumber but two or three. When we decided to completely remodel the condo she gave us a name of a wonderful contractor. We worked with him remote and the final result was awesome. Another example of her expertise is, when we thought we might put it on the rental market she not only gave us names of companies that provided this service but also information on what kind of rental income we might expect if we did it ourselves. She explained about a vrbo and how they operated etc. It was way above what I would have expected from a real estate agent. Would we recommend her to others the answer is that we already have.

We found Amy to be a consummate professional. She has high integrity, a consultative approach and exceptional follow-through. She quickly understood our needs and guided us through a changing real estate market. She is responsive and has exceptional negotiating skills. We love our new home and feel fantastic about our investment. Amy remains a valued resource and continues to help us with local needs.

Amy helped my sister, brother-in-law and I buy a condo in Silverthorne, CO this summer. Living out of the area, we wanted to see what was on the market, so in March, Amy set us up with online information about condos in our price range as they came on the market. When it came time to look at what was available, Amy showed us 15 or more places. She was extremely well organized, punctual, kept us well informed and provided profiles for each condo. She listened to our plans and had good suggestions to help with what we had in mind. She was congenial and very patient, putting no pressure on us in any way. When it came time to buy the condo we chose, I was ready to offer the full price, but Amy suggested we offer $25,000 less than asking, and the sellers accepted! In my mind, Amy made us $25,000. She knows the area really well and has helped us with referrals for services we've needed as we set up the condo. I would unreservedly recommend her to anyone needing a realtor and would definitely hire her again.

We highly recommend Amy Nakos. She was very communicative about all activity on our listing, provided suggestions, listened well, and delivered on her promises. She did a great job staying on top of details and representing our interests in a complicated transaction.

I can't say enough about the service that Amy provides. She is very professional, ethical and has an in-depth knowledge and great feel for the Summit County real estate market. This proved invaluable in my situation since I was living outside of Colorado when I listed my property.
I recommend her highly!
Kevin and Carolyn Quinn., Sold a Condo in Copper Mountain
Over the years I have worked with many brokers so can compare Amy Nakos with those past experiences.
Amy Nakos excels at everything one could want from a broker such as clever marketing and messaging; networking with other brokers; following up with brokers; overcoming objections; evaluating price and comparable sales; financial and rental analysis; and advising on how to show the house well at minimal cost.
Amy also has the skills and tenacity to get the tough deals done. We had an extremely difficult close with a buyer. The buyer changed terms, delayed close several times and finally showed up at close without a down-payment. Amy stuck with it through all the changes, for 6 hours or so at the Title company when the buyer tried to bluff through the close, helped rewrite terms during the failed close to avoid putting the property in limbo in the event that the buyer did not follow through with their down-payment and followed up on the real close that occurred several days later.
Amy is very logical, communicates well, is a creative problem solver and a pleasure to work with.
Needless to say that I think highly of Amy and believe that you would find a business relationship with her benefits your brand and your clients.

Amy was instrumental in the successful purchase of my Summit County condo. She was very patient and realistic through an extended searching phase, providing the level of information I needed and going out of her way to pre-screen properties when I couldn't be there myself. When the right property came along she was key in negotiating a quick contract acceptance in the midst of a competitive environment. Amy kept me well-informed through the purchase process and her connections in Summit County made me confident that I was working with the right people to get to the closing table. I truly appreciate all she did to make my dream reality!
E Hillen, Purchased a Condo in Silverthorne/Wildernest
Amy Nakos is highly-energetic, extremely smart, and super lovely to work with. You will never see her without an extremely genuine smile on her face. She gets to know her clients and understands their needs to find the perfect place. She does such a great job at this that, my parents have also used her to purchase a condo sight-unseen and could not have been more pleased with their purchase.
She has great local knowledge and experience. In fact, the condo I purchased was a home that Amy overheard it about to be listed when dropping her kids at the bus stop.
She was very accommodating and always made herself available for phone calls during my strange hours. Most importantly, she was always more than willing to answer loads of questions in very layman’s terms and in as much detail as needed (very appreciated as I was a first time home purchaser). Additionally, with her education and experience in law, I felt very comfortable going through contracts with her and understanding various aspects.
I will absolutely be using Amy again in any future real estate transactions and would highly recommend her to anyone. (Thank you Amy for finding me the perfect home and for going above and beyond!)

I am a licensed Colorado attorney - I have been a real estate broker since 2002 I have co-developed a four-unit residential project and am currently working on a 20-25 unit development project I bought an income property out of foreclosure and manage it with my husband/business partner. I am a real estate investor. I am a mom of two boys and one rat terrier (which I know has little to do with real estate, but is very relevant to my life!)
I specialize in Summit County real estate in the areas of Breckenridge, Keystone, Frisco, Copper Mountain, Dillon, and Silverthorne.
My Background: In 2003, my family and I made our dream of moving to the mountains of Colorado a reality. Coming from Chicago, there could not be a greater disparity of locations and lifestyle. We continue to enjoy all that Summit County has to offer including four world class ski resorts, miles of hiking and biking trails, temperate summers with plenty of festivals, and great people.
I am a licensed attorney and practiced commercial litigation at Foley & Lardner in Chicago prior to shifting my business to real estate. While I don't practice law anymore, I do find that I perceive issues a bit differently, especially with my background in litigation. My legal training and experience truly helps me to get deals closed the right way.
How I Can Help You: The Summit County real estate market has rebounded from the Great Recession and activity is high. Because Summit County is a resort market, many people rent their properties. I have contacts with numerous property managers who can assist you in determining the potential rental income for your property. Meeting new people and helping them make their dreams come true is why I enjoy my work. I encounter successful people who want to find a place of their own to relax in the mountains with their family. The serenity and beauty of Summit County is the ideal place to create memories with those you love. If this sounds like you, let's talk to create a plan to make YOUR dream of owning a mountain home, a reality!
