I spoke on a panel at Your Castle’s last company meeting earlier this month. I was asked to share tips on how to create a thriving business. I thought a lot about what I was going to say: Hard work, dedication to clients, long hours, nights and weekends, highest level of expertise in the market, etc.

But, when it came time for me to express the most important part of being successful, I talked about being mentally, emotionally and spiritually ready to receive the success and abundance. How did I get there and how am I still getting there?

Much of my knowledge and attitude was formed by reading books. Here is my list of most influential books in my 25+ years of personal development.

  • Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki
  • The Secret, Rhonda Byrne
  • The Slight Edge, Jeff Olson
  • The Way to Do Anything, is the Way You do Everything
  • Money and the Law of Attraction, Esther Hicks
  • A Happy Pocket Full of Money
  • You Are a Badass at Making Money, Sincero
  • You Are a Badass, Jen Sincero
  • Girl, Wash Your Face, Hollis
  • The Success Principles, Jack Canfield
  • Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill
  • The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up
