I didn’t grow up wanting to sell real estate. In fact, I wanted to be doctor or a singer, just like Whitney Houston. My science and math skills are lacking, and I’m basically tone deaf, so I went to law school.

After relocating to Colorado from Chicago with a one year old (Tyler), and deciding that real estate was going to be a vehicle for us to build our wealth, I ended up working in real estate instead of building a fresh law practice.
